THE EXPERIENCE

Gary Zygmont began his construction career in Philadelphia where he worked an 8,000 hour apprenticeship at a Colonial and Victorian home renovation firm. He then moved to Colorado where he took a foreman position at a large custom homebuilder. After several years in Colorado, Gary made the decision to move close to family in Austin, where he then started his own construction company. After a decade of building and renovating homes in central Texas, Gary started Urban Home Builders, LLC.

Gary Zygmont has experienced success at each level of his career, which has allowed him to fulfill his vision of what a custom homebuilder should be. Working directly with homeowners, real estate agents, architects, engineers, city officials and sub-contractors is second nature for Gary. He believes that building a custom home is the most rewarding home ownership experience that a person can have.
